The most effective way to develop broadband access is optical access network, under the background of "Broadband China Optical network city", optical city network construction and need to have a comprehensive, has the reference value for the construction plan.This article in view of the domestic and foreign optical access network development, the background and significance of the topic, introduces the optical access network technology and application, PON's basic principle, network structure, system architecture and related technology, compared to the EPON and GPON technology. According to the target architecture of access network, the main technical indicators, combined with the Baoding Telecom optical access network status and general design requirements, design principles, and gives the optical access network scheme, from the access mode, the effective transmission distance and cost analysis and comparison of the the district two access methods of difference and detailed design process. According to the current operators have built residential, new residential, rural areas, three different scenarios, classification introduced network architecture and ODN network scheme, compared and introduced the cost of residential renovation and new residential, presented in the previous paper based methods were applied to Baoding Zhuozhou army Hin residential homes and Laiyuan Xi Guan Xin Cun, as a case to introduce.Through the design of Baoding Telecom optical access network engineering system, the network model is established for the current situation of Baoding Telecom. In order to further improve the economic benefits of rural access network construction, and puts forward the own or share other weak pole using non insulating fittings erecting self bearing type cable, sharing power pole use insulating fittings on the electric pole erecting self supporting cable, effectively reduce project investment.
