With the rapid development of higher vocational education and the continued information process of the library, the higher vocational college library can carry out high quality information consulting services plays an important role in the development of higher vocational colleges.This paper is divided into three parts, which are the research contents of the information consulting service of Higher Vocational College Library. The first part introduces the evolution of the information consulting service of the library and the uniqueness and importance of the higher vocational colleges.In the second part, it analyzes the current situation of library information consulting services from the column setting, service mode, service content and operation. And then it points out the problems of the library information consulting services of the higher vocational school at present. Such as service program set up arbitrarily, less attention for information consultation, deficiency of inter-library cooperation consciousness, lack of in-depth development of information resources, and so on.The third part put forward a series of suggestions on promotion of higher vocational college library information consulting service level, to establish its own database, broaden the information consulting service, provide personalized service, improve the quality of information consultants, pay attention to the information user training, strengthen the construction of information resources sharing.
