The Establishment Of Service System For Higher Vocational College Library In Network Environment

Service is an eternal theme in library, and the ability and level ofservice is the important index to measure the library’s work. So the valueof all the work in library is embodied by service. Libraries in highervocational colleges, as the literature information security system, play animportant role in the development of vocational education. In networkenvironment, these libraries have been in the critical transition periodfrom traditional library to digital library, the service content and methodtake place great change. For adapting to the fast development ofvocational education in China, it is a new subject to establish the servicesystem of college library under internet circumstances.Firstly, this paper makes bibliometric analysis on journal paperspublished by librarians of higher vocational colleges, analyzes theresearch hotspot and development tendency focused by librarians throughthe word frequency of keywords, and then realizes the whole situation ofthese libraries preliminarily. Meanwhile, this paper uses internet survey toinvestigate the20libraries of higher vocational colleges and7libraries of985universities from Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, and makesthe comparative analysis. In addition to the research conclusion ofbibliometrics and network survey, this article summarizes the existingproblems and analyzes why dose these problems appear. Based on theabove discussion, this paper eventually puts forward the developmentplan for the construction of service system in higher vocational collegelibraries during internet circumstances. The purpose is to exploresustainable development path for higher vocational college libraries,change the service mode, renew service ideas, and provide better servicefor teaching, research and students’ quality education.
