Higher Vocational And Technical Teachers College Library Resource Sharing

It has been a trend to develop jointly and share the information resources among the institutions of higher education. As national vocational education information services and information distribution center, the library of vocational teachers'institutions of higher education is an important part of the national vocational education information resources construction. Given the slow development of the single-type libraries in those institutions, it is an insurmountable task to provide comprehensive information resources, as well as a multifaceted, convenient, speedy and timely information service. So a timely to strengthen the joint construction and sharing of information resources in vocational teachers' institutions of higher education under the new environment, how to meet the needs of the development of information system, to realize joint construction an sharing of information resources,is becoming an important problem to be resolved of these colleges.At first, this paper studied situation of foreign and domestic information resources joint construction and sharing research, and analyzed the current domestic and foreign typical information resource joint construction and sharing model and domestic several typical information resource joint construction and sharing cases. Then discussed some problems during the Chinese colleges' information resources joint construction and sharing work.After a detailed analysis of current condition, Information resources structure, features, and status and related problems during information resources joint construction and sharing of vocational teachers'institutions of higher education with varied research methods, the thesis presents the necessity and feasibility of joint construction and sharing of information resources among the vocational teachers' institutions of higher education. On the careful review of the foreign and domestic models and cases of joint construction and sharing of information resources, the thesis also presents a more reasonable model, the library consortia among vocational teachers' institutions of higher education, and construction designs, which include several aspects, including the construction of effective Coordination Organization and joint procurement organization, the construction of information retrieval system, the provision of versatile digitalized information services, the construction of information sharing network platform and the system of information delivery services, the perfection of information resources supporting system and the sustainable development of joint construction and sharing of information resources.Finally, it also analyzed thoroughly the supporting system for the joint construction and sharing of information sources in terms of organization, coordination, talents and financial support, etc.
