Abstract/Summary:
The design and implementation of power grid resource management system for Changxing Electrical Power Company is presented in this thesis. This software system is developed to provide information support to the company’s trend towards the integrated electricity supply business operational management. This company is extending its legacy information management platform to enhance its highly efficient and precise information integration of which this power grid resource management system is an important component.Centralized with the above application goals, the following works are accomplished in this thesis. Firstly the most important functions of this software are determined in accordance with its business objectives which include the resource distribution information management, physical equipment asset transaction management, apparatus and measurements information management and quality standard information management functions with detailed analysis and the related interactive diagrams and use-case models established. Secondly the system design scheme is established to be the multi-layered architecture with interactive view layer, business management layer and database management layer. The main modules and the internal objects design are presented with object relationship model diagrams, transaction processing model flowcharts and the relational database design model are presented in detail. Thirdly the software programs’ implementation running in.NET environment and SQL Server database are sketched with representative running output examples and functional test results.This software is now undergoing its initial applications and behaves well in providing standardization in management and precise and timely grid resource information support to the company’s managers, reaching the expected objectives in its development.
