With the rapid economic and social development in China, the electric power industry takes up an increasingly important position. The business demand for the power information system continues to increase in the informatization field and at the same time the demands for the information system of electric power industry constantly increase in size and quantity. In today's world with developed information systems, data security and reliable operation have become the primary goal of system construction. Therefore, the passive monitoring and maintenance in the electric power industry has been difficult to meet the overall development needs of the electric power industry.On the basis of analysis, survey and research of the demands of Liaoning Electric Power Company, the paper designs a power enterprise information real time monitoring system with user-friendly interface and simple operation according to the objective needs of real-time monitoring of power. The system adopts the currently popular Java programming language as the development language. The paper selects the B/S structure for the system structure selection at the same time. In the design stage of the system, the paper takes use of the standardized UML unified modeling language, gives the corresponding diagrams, flowcharts, and database ER diagrams. On the basis of the system design, the paper gives out detailed design in the implementation stage and analysis of operation monitoring, disaster monitoring, network equipment operation, real-time event alerts, statistical analysis of data, platform system settings and several other modules.Currently, the platform has entered trial operation stage. The results show that the platform can meet the operation and maintenance personnel's actual needs of daily management of power system, achieve the corresponding management objectives of electric power enterprises and realize central management, timely monitoring and effective analysis of power products, reducing the workload of staff and improving the management level of electric power enterprises.
