In order to improve the function of experiment apparatus for isothermal oil transportation pipelinedata acquisition and monitoring system, which is used in Storage and Transportation Lab of our college, the original system is redesigned to make it meet the standards of daily teaching. According to the needs oflaboratory and experiments teaching, the data acquisition and monitoring system is designed based on dataacquisition technology which is controlled by PLC S7-300, and Force Control configuration software.Firstly, this thesis shows an overview of the project. And then, the data acquisition technology andPLC control technology is introduced. Thirdly, the overall of hardware and software of the system isproposed. PLC S7-300, is used to collect the data from sensors and to upload collected data to a personalcomputer. Experimental process can be monitored on the human-machine interface based on ForceControl configuration software. The flow, pressure, and other parameters in the experimental pipeline arecontrolled by PLC. Fourthly, by the Force Control configuration software, we can save a collection ofexperimental data in real-time databases, and build historical databases. It’s order to be easy to check outlater. At last, the function of Web publishing is provided, which use the function of networkcommunication of Force Control configuration software. The whole system becomes a typicalclient/server network.Through on-site commissioning and operation, the result shows that it fulfills the designed functionsand can run stably. And the human-computer interaction is simple and friendly. It arrives at the aimexpected and achieves data reading, real time curve displaying, and inquiry of historicaldata, alarmdisplaying and other functions.
