A Portable Gas Detector Based On A New Sensor

Due to the advantages of easy to carry,portable gas detector simple operation is widely used in industrial production.In complex environment,such as large-scale petroleum and petrochemical enterprises and coal mine, portable gas detector not only to be flexible and durable, and also can ensure the personal safety of staff, To solve these problems, we design a new type of flexible and practical portable gas detector in this paper.The work of design a portable gas detector contain hardware and software design. The detecting element is a new sensor which designed by the laboratory of nanomaterial and sensors of Jiangxi Normal University school, portable gas detector work by wireless charging technology,based on the ZIGBEE wireless network technology,and RSSI localization algorithm to tracking the staff.With OLED screen,the gas concentration constantly display related informmation,alarming when gas concentration up to threshold value, standard 4-20 mA industrial output. In order to adapt to different occasions, the design adopts module extension method, can not only realize the traditional function of portable gas detector,but also be inserted into the ZIGBEE module to create a ZIGBEE network so as to realize positioning and communication function.
