ECG monitoring system takes human ECG signal as its object; mainly accomplish the data collection, information transmission and waveform display of weak ECG signals. The research and design of low power, low-cost monitoring system has great economic value and social significance.Based on the human ECG signal characteristics by a collection of large data, this paper design a kind of real-time monitoring systems as auxiliary medical equipment relying on wireless transmission network. The system uses high performance, low power consumption of TI's microprocessors CC2431 as the core and design the terminal node, router node and coordinator node. These nodes are used respectively for the signal acquisition and data transmission in wireless network, so that information can be timely and stably transmitted to the control center, at the same time the low power consumption and the accuracy of terminal node are verified by experiments. According to the zigbee protocol, zigbee architecture and the relationship between each level is intensive analyzed, the role played in the process of building a network and data transmission, and successfully find out its network construction process, sort out the software process, and also clearly recognize the function of terminal node, router nodes and coordinator nodes in the network.This system can be used in the medical field, military, sports and other fields. ECG real-time monitoring system is one of the branches of medical system. Its biggest feature are the portability, low power consumption, and keep users' data which can be timely and accurately transformed to the medical control center, the special care service center and private family by wireless transmission no matter when and what situation to provide a basis for doctors to determine accurately the patient's condition.
