Intelligent device or intelligent instrument is based on processors. Computer technique, measurement technique and software are combined to compose"intelligent measurement control system". Flowing the development of science technology, intelligent device has the abilities of judgment, self-study and creativity. But conventional human-machine interfaces, such as keyboard, GUI (graph user interface), can't satisfy the need of task. Then Wireless Speech Control is introduced as the human-machine interface of intelligent device.Wireless Speech Control system, based on Speech Recognition and wireless communication module, realizes the control function of intelligent device. It has the characters of convention, long-distance control, easy integrate application and fine extension. In this system speech commands are realized independent in DSP, and wireless communication uses the new technology- ZigBee, which is a near distance, low complexity and low cost wireless technique. ZigBee is suitable for automatic control, intelligent home and long distance control etc.The development of intelligent device is micromation and multi-function. Using speech could conventional receive information and at the same time don't add extra complexity while multi-function to user. Adding wireless speech control operator can speak to operate device and realize automation. With speech control intelligent device are human for operators. Wireless communication could control intelligent device and at the same time could be used as connections between devices. Then more complexity, larger area tasks could be finished.Wireless speech control system is combined with speech control module based on DSP and wireless transfer module based on ZigBee. Connection between two modules use interrupt to transfer data and command. Topology of control network is star model in this paper: one Full Function Device and multi Reduced Function Device.Speech control module uses DSP TI-TMS320VC5402 to realize recognition of speech command. TI-TLC320AD50C audio CODEC and pre-amplify circuit finish the acquisition of speech signal. Extend program and data RAM expand FLASH used to realize system self-bootloader then auto run. Speech commands, recognized in speech control system, are transferred to ZigBee module by interrupts.ZigBee module is combined with low power PIC microprocessor PIC18LF4620 and CC2420, which are communicated by SPI. PIC microprocessor realizes application and Protocol of ZigBee. Physical data transfer and data verify are realized in CC2420. ZigBee Protocol contains PHY layer, MAC layer, Data Link Layer, Network layer and Application layer.Combined speech control with ZigBee wireless technique, this system could be used in intelligent device control, and have flexible extension. For example DSP speech control module could be replaced by PC or other processors, or wireless transfer network could be used as wireless sensors network.Wireless speech control system based on DSP and ZigBee in Intelligent Device is realized in this paper. It realizes real-time recognition and at the same time achieves wireless speech control.
