Aviation battery mainly works as an auxiliary power supply or emergency power supply to important equipment when the main power fails or does not work.In order to ensure its safety, aviation batteries are equipped with an appropriate aviation battery controller, which can monitor the real-time status information, fault information and maintenance information of the battery pack and send these to the battery management system, based on the agreed communication protocol. Then the host will take appropriate measures to manage the battery group in order to ensure the safety of the battery pack. Any exception in the process of transferring the battery parameters may lead to a reduction in the performance of the entire system and even cause a major accident. So the communication test on aviation battery controller is very important for the production and maintenance work of all kinds of civil and military aircraft.Aviation battery controller communication test software is designed to meet these requirements. This communication test software, which is designed on the basis of studying the communication mode and the communication protocol of the RS-422, RS-485, CAN, ARINC429 and 1394 bus, is suitable for the above five bus interfaces. The main functions of the software include as follows, 1) Receive and transmit the data of the battery controller of the above five bus interfaces. 2) RS-422, RS-485, CAN and ARINC429 bus interface of the battery controller communication protocol content(parameter information, fault information, maintenance information, etc…) can be configured on the software, and the software can real-timely analyze the received data based on the configuration. 3) Automatically build the battery controller battery data table, based on the template of the configured communication protocol. 4) Be able to draw the coordinate diagram of the battery data(such as the battery status, device failure, battery voltage, battery current, etc.) stored in the database. 5) Manage the stored configuration and data.After the research on the standard specification and the corresponding communication protocol of the RS-422 bus, RS-485 bus, CAN bus, ARINC429 bus and the 1394 bus, this paper completes the software functions above. Finally, the software has gone through tests, which shows this software can effectively adapt to the changes on the content of the communication protocol. The software is of high practical value for saving human resources, shortening the period of development and debugging.
