The Campus Visual Management System Development And Research Based On ArcGIS And SketchUp

Along with the rapid development and popularization of the network information technology and the computer technology,the degree of college education informationization constantly improve.A variety of campus information management system in our country has been widely used in colleges and universities.But for a long time,colleges and universities in the management information system(MIS)only focusing on the system attribute data input,processing,analysis and management,for the campus of the three-dimensional geographic information analysis and management involves very little.For the overall campus information management is not enough.Three dimensional space data and campus geographic information is necessary for the campus information management data,many of the campus information management is based on spatial data.For example,want to undertake the building metope paint job,the painting to the quantities of metope,you must know the height of the building and the basic spatial information;When need to patrol the campus,we need to know which shortest route,which is the best route search effect;To fill the excavation campus on infrastructure construction,analysis and calculation of earthwork quantity need 3 D data of the school.The above involves all aspects of campus management needs to have accurate spatial data and geographic information as support.However,before the development of campus management system is difficult to achieve the above functions,often require the manual calculation and field investigation,both work and time consuming.So the traditional campus management information system is difficult to adapt to the modernization construction of the campus,campus visual management system based on ArcGIS and SketchUp is necessary to the development and research.The study of science and technology in Jilin province department of education research project "Jilin architecture college campus building key techniques of 3 D visualization" support,Jilin architectural university as experimental prototype for 3 D GIS system.Studied the method of required for data acquisition to establish thecampus 3 D visualization management system;To design reasonablly to campus management system database;Studied the three dimensional modeling method,summarizes the main 3 D modeling method,by comparing the disadvantages as concluded in this paper,the modeling method,and this paper mainly introduces the method of SketchUp software to create 3 D model;This article will the established 3D SketchUp model combined with ArcGIS software development platform ArcGlobe drive to realize 3 D scene,eventually develop a spatial analysis,3 D visualization(three-dimensional navigation,flight,roaming),and the campus visual management system of information query function.In this paper,the main data are as follows:construction of the university of jilin Google images,2 D vector data,building arts data,elevation data,3 D model building.The innovation of this article lies in: breaking the long campus management system focusing on the system attribute data input,processing,analysis and management of traditional,in campus geographic information and three dimensional information as the main information,set up campus visual management system;A medium use ArcGlobe module is proposed for remote sensing image shadow analysis method,so that they can generally get a campus building elevation information;Using ArcGIS platform and SketchUp software combination of establishing 3 D visualization management system so as to realize campus space analysis of 3 D object,three dimensional information browse and query function,department of logistics and infrastructure to make school campus of everyday life and project construction for effective management.
