Countries to the popularization of higher education network is more and more attention,increasing the investment in education,conditions of colleges and universities in the United States and the infrastructure construction has entered a rapid development stage,many colleges and universities have infrastructure reconstruction,expansion,reconstruction of the situation.In this case,colleges and universities is an urgent need to establish perfect the management system of digital campus,the school provides decision-making support for infrastructure construction,planning,management and effective dynamic campus management information.So-called digital campus management system based on digital information and network technology platform,using high quality human resources in colleges and universities,establish of teaching,scientific research,management,technical services,service life,such as the provision of information digital campus information management system,is a geographic information system,the organic fusi on of computer management science,system science.Digital campus with hierarchical,the overall point of view to reflect the construction of campus informatization,better use of organization and the campus network information classification,let visitors convenient to find their own needs.The system provides teachers and students with an online information exchange environment,enables managers to manage relevant data scientifically and regularly,and publishes them quickly in the network.Firstly,the background and purpose of digital campus management system and the research status at home and abroad are described.Secondly,it expounds the knowledge of GIS,digital campus management system,system development environment and key technologies.Third,in considering the demand of campus management system,research and design of the overall design of campus management system,including system architecture,interface design,function design and the spatial data processing,disaster early warning,the const ruction of the campus information,etc.;Fourthly,the system implementation method and testing process are studied.The system adopts the ArcGIS Engine component development mode,and the application C# has been used for the second development of Visual S tudio 2012,and the digital management system of the department is preliminarily established.
