The Textual Research About The Books Of Zibu Cited From The “Bei Tang Shu Chao”

“Bei Tang Shu Chao” is the earliest extant Leishu that single-handedly written by Yu Shinan.“Bei Tang Shu Chao”, and together with the “Yiwen Leiju”, “Bai Shi Liu Tie”, “Chu Xue Ji” is the four Leishu(encyclopedia) in Tang Dynasty(618~907),which is famous in the world for it has awalys completed the book more earlier than the other books, included more literature materials than others. According to incomplete statistics,“Bei Tang Shu Chao” quotes and proves fully document data more up to 201,000 terms or records, which cited books except for Poetry and Prose, its kinds of “Bei Tang Shu Chao” more than eight hundred, so it could be said to be a major source of books before the Sui Dynasty. But unfortunately, these ancient documents have now lost eighty or ninety percent, so “Bei Tang Shu Chao” is very useful for literature collection and has a very important role in checking or consulting for information. However, since the “Bei Tang Shu Chao” differ from other Famous Schools of Thought, and on the “Bei Tang Shu Chao” itself there has been no better version of the biography deposit in the world, the academic research on “Bei Tang Shu Chao” have been relatively few, and citing books about preserving and missing has almost no one to do the research or study.Therefore, this article will use the research methods of reference books, try to make a system arrangement on “Bei Tang Shu Chao” in the literature cited from Zibu. In accordance with the "Si Ku Quan Shu" classification standard of Zibu, “Bei Tang Shu Chao” quotation the document literature of Zibu in Confucian classifying has twelve kinds, the classifying of military strategist has five kinds, the classifying of legalist school has four kinds, the classifying of Shushu has two kinds, the category of eclectics has fifteen kinds, the classifying of novels has fourteen kinds, the category of Taoist school has seven kinds, all of these, a total of fifty-nine kinds; In addition, there is eighteen kinds of books quoted from the document literature of Zibu in “Bei Tang Shu Chao”, which does not included in imperial collection of four, but all located in the “Han Dynasty·Yiwen Records”(Han Shu Yi Wen Zhi) and the Record of Classical Document of The History of the Sui Dynasty(Sui Shu Jing Jizhi) of the philosophers or Zibu books. Therefore, this article is prepared to carry out one by one on the seventy-seven kinds of ancient books, Its content mainly includes the author's life, editions, compiling, and books compiling documents comparison, and try mybest to make a thorough study on the influence of Zibu literature on later generations.
