With the continuous development of information technology, digital resources grow rapidly and become increasingly important in our life.To order to access and make full use of these resources, people start to pay attention to long-term preservation of digital resources. The emergence and development of knowledge mapping provides a direct and visualized way to study the structure, characteristics and trends of a subject. With knowledge mapping and tools like Citespace,SATI and SPSS,this paper analyzes the literature about long-term preservation of digital resources domestic and overseas, and makes the following conclusions:(1)Oversea long-term preservation of digital resource research began in the early 1990 s while domestic in late 1990 s and both developed rapidly after 21 st century.(2)Co-occurrence knowledge mapping shows that National Science Library and North Carolina state university publish the most papers in domestic and oversea respectively.Author Zhenxin Wu and Andreas Rauber publish the most papers in domestic and oversea.(3)Picture of social network analysis shows that few cooperation between research institutions occur both in domestic and oversea. But the number of cooperation between foreign scholars is significantly higher than the number of cooperation between the domestic scholars.(4)Through clustering analysis,13 research hotspots and 10 research hotspots of long-term preservation of digital resource domestic and oversea had been found.Using Strategic Diagram and Citespace time zone diagram,we know that the research trends of domestic are open access and intellectual property issues while research trends of oversea are project implementation strategy and digital curation.
