Nowadays the rapid development of electronic industry, with the rapid development of SMT, the corresponding electronic assembly equipment and production technology will have to innovate. How to improve the efficiency of the equipment in the production, SMT always meet much difficulties. SMT machine performance focus are speed and accuracy. In another word is to optimize the moving distance of placement machine mechanical arm and the ability of image processing. I will explain how to improve the performance of SMT machine made in China.In the process of research work is mainly divided into two parts, the first part, is that realize the optimization of component placement sequence, how to determine the use of Max- min ant colony algorithm, illustrate its advantages, its parameters and the optimal trace for pick and place head, which run the shortest distance and improve the productivity.At last, I conform Max- min ant colony algorithm is working well for optimization. And explain the optimization software which is how to arrange feeder and suction nozzle, how to reach the highest efficiency, to increase corporate profits. Research the optimized software design principle. The second part's topic is How to obtain image element and analysis, through edge detection and filtering processing to get the effective characteristic information, filter the useless information, to gain clearer image element more accurate for position correction to prepare. After discussion about the detection of component, initial angle offset and correction, component center position deviation and rectification,. I compare the centroid method and barycenter method to locate the target difference and how to use the least square method to compensate the deflection angle of the element. It can be calculated and provide accurate compensation data, to control position. Through explanation for the above two main aspects, we will know more about the method of SMT machine software design, and we also know how to improve the performance of SMT machine by better way.
