With the continuous progress of Regional Geological Survey work,all kinds of information to learn more and more achievements,the current administration has been unable to meet the labor needs to work for the realization of geo scientific information, automated management,the need to establish a complete set of geoscience information management system,to achieve the geological information query, retrieval, data management,data maintenance and data output,and other basic functions, the protection of geological survey work in Scientific Management.In order to solve the massive data storage in geological survey work, editing, sharing and other issues, the regional survey and GIS technology and spatial database integrated into MapGIS based geoscience information management system. The system uses an object-oriented thinking, according to particle size packaging operations and the corresponding object attributes, using a layered architecture and component-based development approach to improve the maintainability and extensibility of the system, the use of rich profiles, user-friendly self given operation, abnormal sound capture and error, improve the user's ease of use, timely data backup to ensure the security of the data. The system is set up to study the spatial database information, the main achievement of geoscience information and data management, browse display, multi-mode data retrieval, data clipping, multiple data source data input and output.System through GIS technology, geospatial databases and database technology applications, to enhance the efficiency of the regional survey work, standardize regional survey of massive data management and improve the utilization of data for the next data sharing and digging to lay a solid foundation.
