Yichang city is located in the lower part of the Three Gorges Reservoir area,at the junctionbetween middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River, the world-famous Three Gorges Dam was built here. Mountains, hills andplains, formed a "seven mountains-twohills-one plain" topography, Yichang city where the geological conditions is complex, rainfall, floods, geological disasters frequently happened, is one of the most serious areas of geological disasters in Hubei province and even in the whole country. In recent years, more than 60% of the Serious geological disasters in Hubeiprovince occurred in Yichang city,andthere’re more than 40% of the provincial geological disaster focal monitoring points. The terrible events such as Xintan landslide, Lianzi Cliff dangerous rock body and Salt river rock-fall were all happened in Yichang City.The frequent geological disasters eriously threat to people’s lives and property, also greatly influenced the stability of the society and the development of local economy. Thus, it’s of great significance to strengthen research and service on meteorological monitoring and forecasting technological of geological Hazard, Only by this way can we assure masses of material possessions against loss of life and safety in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.The project Combined with the more advanced geographic information system released MapGIS based on Web browser, Tomcat and JSP web design methods are also used, The project implementsthe real-time processing,display,publishing and query of information related to meteorological monitoring and forecasting of geological Hazard in Yichang city.The main content of this thesis includes:(1)established the history information database of geological disaster and meteorological real-time monitoring information database,realized the function of the meteorological monitoring module of the system.(2)Meteorological risk grading model of geological hazard combined with the results of the medium-and short-term precipitation forecast and research achievement of geological hazards graded by risk degree. Thereby the meteorological forecasting and warning products of geological hazard can be formed, thus realized the function of the meteorological forecasting module of the system.(3)The product distribution module implementproduct distribution issued by a variety of ways, including automatic transmission of the texts, short messagesof mobile phone automatic transmission with group pattern, websitepublishingwith one button down, electronic display screen, loudspeakers publishing with one button down and broadcasting of television, etc.(4) Weather monitoring and warning system of geological hazards in Yichang city was developed with the introduction of geographic information system(GIS),and Real time monitoring of meteorological products、Short-term precipitation forecast products as well as final geological hazard forecast and early warning products can be output via WebGIS function of the system.Thesis focused on solving techniques include: Website development technology based on JSP and Tomcat、Database technologies、development and application of WebGIS(web geographic information system) based on MapGIS and JSP、Contour drawing and vector map display technology,etc.
