Our government has set targets on reform of the supply side in the national economy system.As a breakthrough by the government,the iron and steel industry is faced with excess capacity,irrational inventory,high costs,low efficiency and other problems.The iron and steel production scheduling refers to allocating resources in accordance with the time in the way that production plan can be implemented and that production based on orders can be achieved.Optimization of production scheduling in iron and steel enterprises can improve the plight and increase the benefits.At present,over the matter of research on the iron and steel production scheduling,special model is usually established to solve the specific scheduling problems.Different models vary in their modeling approaches,hence the model hasn't the characteristic of reusability,which means it can only solve single issue.There exists a considerable number of repeated modeling with regard to research on the iron and steel production scheduling,increasing the burden of the researchers and wasting resources for study.As the development of artificial intelligence technology,production scheduling in iron and steel industry advances towards intelligence.The application of model library system with a certain intelligent modeling technology will greatly reduce the workload of the researchers.Besides,it will bring much convenience in working out production scheduling plan in iron and steel enterprises,so as to raise work efficiency of scheduling.As a result,this thesis has developed a model library system to manage the existed models and explore the rules of modeling in order to achieve automation and intelligence in modeling process.The following tasks have been done in this paper concerning research on the model library systems.1)According to modular modeling thinking,the research has been conducted on modeling method of iron and steel production scheduling.The thesis has established three stages in the model of steelmaking,continuous casting and hot rolling,summarized the rules of the modeling process and then concluded the general modular model.Scheduling model is parameterized to enable model realize information storage and management.2)Adopting object-oriented method to represent knowledge information of model,the thesis takes advantage of object-oriented encapsulation and reusability to achieveknowledge expression,storage and operation of model.Through the analysis of model library system in iron and steel production scheduling based on UML modeling technology,the static structure of model library system and the dynamic interaction model are established.3)By the way of developing hybrid programming in Java and SQL server database,prototype system of model library has been established in the iron and steel production scheduling.That is how model library system realizes the automatic modeling and the model obtains solution and scheduling result of the Gantt chart by transferring MATLAB component.The actual scheduling data can verify the effectiveness of the model library prototype system.Model library system of the iron and steel production scheduling can greatly improve the efficiency in making the scheduling strategy and reduce the scheduling personnel's working strength.
