Urban heating system is distributed all over a city so that the implementation of effective monitoring of the heating system becomes a challenge in industry.With the development of computer network and control technology,the Internet has penetrated into all walks of life.Thanks to mobile Internet breaking the regional boundaries,wireless industrial remote control is then possible.As a subject of "Internet+",the remote monitoring of the heating system,employing wireless at industrial sites in particular,comes into being.After analyzing the operation of the heating system,this thesis proposes a novel approach which is based on Web application,allowing access to the web page,in order to cope with the deficiencies in the current remote monitoring system.In the proposed control system,Rockwell CompactLogix controller is adopted,consisting of Ethernet communication modules,digital modules and analog modules.The comparison is made between the classical PID control algorithm and fuzzy self-tuning PID control algorithm in terms of the effect of temperature control,and the latter is chosen to control the temperature.Also a manual control module via PLC is available.RSView32 software is utilized to design the control interface which offers OPC server for the data communication between a host computer and a lower machine.C # programming language is applied to design the Web application.On the one hand a data transfer channel is established by accessing the OPC server,on the other hand the application can be released on IIS server.Therefore the system ultimately implements real-time remote monitoring of the lower machine when clients access the web page via their mobile wireless terminal,without having to install a configuration software and web controls.This proposal provides a method which combines industrial control and the Internet.It is a typical case of "Internet +",and has great value for reference.
