City Heating Network is one of the most important fundamental infrastructures of modern cities. The present situation of the automatic technology application of the centralized heating system is reviewed in this paper. The adjusting and control methods for the City Heating Networks are thoroughly discussed. This paper tries to use new methods to control heat source and heat supply station for improving effect of heating supply. This paper is intended to study the distributed control system of Heating Network, which has two parts: heat source and heat supply station. First, use the Fuzzy Control algorithm to control the water temperature of heat source on the basis of emulational mathematic model, design Fuzzy controller unit, analyze simulation result in Matlab and compare with PID controller;Second, every thermal consumer implements adjusting by themselves, so they can't be controlled entirely. When there is not enough heat, some thermal consumer may "grab food". It will lead to the thermal consumer at the end of heating network badly off heat. Fuzzy logic control used to limit opening degree of the electronic valve in this paper. Some thermal consumer, which is short of heat, only can obtain limited heat. This method can avoid other thermal consumers from infection. Basing on the prediction ability of GPC, the supplying process of thermal consumer can be controlled well. Generalized predictive control is able to rolled optimize intending samplings and make them approach anticipant values. Through simulating this GPC system and comparing with traditional PID control, we find it is more suitable for control system of City Heating Network.
