In recent years, people have increasingly high demand to the safety measures of storage, such as fireproof and guard against theft. Therefore, the intelligent and efficient storage monitoring system has been paied more and more attention. The traditional warehouse monitoring is based on ordinary microcontroller which has no MMA(Memory Mapping Unit) module to transplant the embedded system, and is based on priority scheduling algorithm for non preemptive kernel. So adopting ordinary microcontroller to develop storage monitoring system will exit a lot of disadvantages, such as high cost and great difficulty to develop, developping the later application of software inconveniently and having limitations to multi task management. Based on the above reasons, studying on the construction of the intelligent monitoring system for storage based on the embedded microcontroller is the trend of developing the storage industry. The intelligent monitoring system for storage developed in this paper, not only has multitasking capabilities at the system level, but also includes the functions of remote video centralized monitoring for multi storage, remote control storage and remote warning of environment extremely for storage. The alarm information is transferred to storage manager or control machine in the form of GSM short-message or network. The intelligent monitoring system for storage can not only greatly improve the security and reliability of storage, but also promote the development of the intelligent monitoring system for storage at home.The paper analyses and introduces the traditional monitoring system for storage and the development status of the monitoring system for storage at home and abroad. After combining the design requirement of system and quota, basing on the technology of linux-c and AT programing language, linux systemtransplantation, linux device driver and Zig Bee wireless sensor network, the intelligent monitoring system for storage is designed, which consists of two parts control computer and local monitoring system. The control machine adopts LAN and local monitoring system for data exchange through the switch. The main research work of the paper is as follows: Firstly, it carries out transplantation of embedded Linux system on the S5pv210 development board based on Cortex-A8 processor. Secondly, on the basis of analyzing requirements of storage monitoring functions, it designs and realzes the monitoring software of control machine, BOA, MJPG-Stream video streaming server transplant, Camera module driver, GSM short-message warning, Zig Bee wireless sensor network and SQLite data base in detail. Finally, the function of remote controlling, GSM shortmessage warning based on simulating abnormal environment of system and video monitoring is carried out testing, the test results meet the original design requirements and the design effect.
