With the rapid popularization of GSM networks and the fast development of mobile communication technology, new technologies and new services have been stepped up to an all-important position. It is a very effective method to take advantage of GSM networks as the information transport platform of wireless intelligent monitoring system, the theory is very simple and has high security, and there is no need to set up special networks and to maintain them, moreover the area of GSM networks covering is very wide, so this method has many particular advantages over the conventional monitoring system.Integrated with mobile communication technology computer technology and autocontrol technology, the author has accomplished the design of intelligent monitoring module based on GSM networks successfully. The module is made up of two PCB boards, one of boards is the monitoring main board, mainly composed of three parts, the main function of module are mainly responsible for accomplish the monitoring of analog variables and digital variables, and display the monitoring status on LCD in time, if there is a severe wrong with the monitoring variables, the module can realize the voice alarm by controlling TC35i wireless engine. The other board is wireless modem, composed of TC35i wireless engine and peripheral interrelated circuit. Mainly accomplishing the sending and receiving of Short Message Service and intelligent voice alarm under the control of CPU.In the beginning, the dissertation introduces the practical significance of project and the actuality of GSM networks, then researches and describes the SMS of GSM networks in detail, including the basic concept of SMS technique characteristics applied actuality and developmental foreground, the protocol and standardization of SMS, the process of transfers AT command set and PDU format based on the first chapter, subsequently the whole design and operational theory are discussed in the follow section , on the base of this section hardware design and software design of the module are given in detail, together with experimental process. The emphasis of dissertation is how to accomplish receivingand sending SMS by wireless modem under the control of CPU on the condition of which the monitored variables is at malfunction, the function of voice alarm is also discussed..The intelligent module is designed for mutual information communication and voice communication between module and monitor mobilephone, now it has been accomplished about the hardware design software coding and debugging,...
