Design And Realization Of Website Integrated Monitoring System Based On Short Message In Chinamil Website

The continuous development of websites and the more and more serious situation ofnetwork security, make the effective monitoring of website running status becomes aconspicuous task gradually. However, there isn't a uniform definition of the websitemonitoring by now, and there isn't an integrated systemic solution about it furthermore.Meanwhile, the Short Message (SM) has become an important alarm method of many kindsof monitoring system. However, the use of the SM by monitoring system is still limitedwithin error alarm, and the potential use of the SM, such as real-time interactive betweenmonitoring system and the SM receiver, still need to be researched.In this dissertation, the author takes the running status monitoring of the ChinamilWebsite as the research object, start the research from two sides, viz. website integratedmonitoring and the real-time interactive between administrators and the system. The mainwork is summarized as follows:1. The author introduces the present website monitoring status in the ChinamilWebsite, analyzes the principle and shortcoming of the popular website monitoring method.2. The author classifies monitoring objects into seven classes which are serverrunning status, webpage content correctness, website service workability, network flow, thetemperature and humidity of machine rooms, the UPS status, the other hardware or softwaresystems which support error alarm by E-mail, presents the model of the Website IntegratedMonitoring System (WIMS).3. The author has designed the interactive rule based on the SM two-directionalcommunication, extends the function of the WIMS with SM alarm, SM query and SMcontrol.4. The author has worked with the real situation the Chinamil Website, introduced thedetails of the design strategy and technology scheme of the Website Integrated MonitoringSystem Based on the Short Message (WIMSBSM).5. The author has accomplished the programming realization of the WIMSBSM, and introduced the key programming technologies which are used in the WIMSBSM softwaredevelopment especially.Now, The WIMSBSM has already been deployed and used in the Chinamil Website,and it has taken good effects.
