Governments and enterprises around the world pay attention to the development of cloud computing. The global ICT recognize the important of cloud computing development. At the same time, cloud computing brings the third information innovation trade and fundamentally changes how people used IT services. Cloud computing reduces the threshold of social information and has a great deal of business promise. However, there are lots of challenge in the region of cloud computing, especially cloud computing services access control and the standards of cloud computing services interface, which limit the development of cloud computing services. The way users access cloud services mainly based on Web services model which lack of integrated mechanism and cannot be capable of pricing, billing and access control in all kinds of compute services. At the same time, cloud computing lacks a unified open cloud computing interface specification. In the region of communication, the applications and services on IMS architecture are still at primary stage generally and develop slowly at present. Telecom operators are also short of the novel communication experiences and value-add services to users. However, IMS architecture has signal control system which is an open and international standard. IMS architecture has a perfect identity authentication, authorization and the charging management for users. At the same time, IMS also has the network quality of services guarantee and can provide high quality services for IMS services. According to the above discussed, Architecture combined the cloud services and IMS architecture which is designed in the thesis.The main research contents and obtained achievements in the thesis are as follows. Firstly, architecture of IMS-based cloud computing is designed on the research of IMS system and cloud services. It contains cloud service notification function, cloud profile configuration, cloud session control function and cloud interaction control. Secondly, according to the rules of RFC 3261 and RFC 4566, some extensions on SIP and SDP are made in the thesis to support the business media transmission interaction on cloud services. Thirdly, the process of IMS-based cloud signaling access control is designed in the thesis according to IMS signaling process. The process contains user registration, subscription and charging. Finally, in the thesis, a cloud services platform is set up with Openstack which is an open source project. A sip application service is deployed with kamailio. And then the prototype system test is implemented. The results show that the design of IMS-based cloud service access control system is rationality and feasibility, and prove that this architecture designed in the thesis can support related business cloud service resources.
