As the premise of network analysis system management, job scheduling, load balancing, event prediction, fault detection and recovery operation in cloud computing platform, It plays an important role to improve cloud compute platform service quality, So, it is of great significance to do a good job in monitoring of the cloud computing platform.It can help the cloud computing platform to use resources dynamicly and quantitatively, detect service defects, discover user mode and schedule auxiliary resource.This paper started with launching a certain analysis for the main cont ent and classification for cloud compute, and also launched a certain anal ysis on several open source cloud compute platforms.After that, The bas ic content of virtualization is launched to analysis according to the related theories, which elaborates a number of innovative monitor scheme. Then, according to a series of theory and the virtual content of VM, It introdu ces various types of database selected in monitor system, data transmissi on, the transmitted data format,and The related theories of libvirt mechan ism of monitoring and supervision. besides that, a further discussion on s ome of the requestmonitoring and management of VM,develops solution s to VM monitor of OpenStack cloud platform.Through the monitor node, getting all relevant imformation of the monitored VM, and finally trans mitted to the monitoring node, the monitoring information is stored into d atabase. The user can inspect a certain data information through the monit ored dashboard or interface. The using of monitoring node is the heartbe at mechanism, at some time monitor will transmit monitoring informatio n to the monitoring node. About monitoring and the management of VM, f irstly analyzes the related theories to VM running under the conditions iof cloud computing,studied a series of characteristics of the servers for mo nitor or VM. On VM monitoring request issued by user,firstly collecting user data through VM control procedures,then through certain APIs, carr ying out the data of mutual transmission with the OpenStack and controlli ng the VM,util all the data is collected.
