Cloud computing, developed from grid computing, distributed computing andparallel computing, is a new business computing mode, which has greatly changed thetraditional resource use and delivery models. In the era of big data explosion, cloudcomputing gets the industry’s extensive attention and support, with its advantage ofefficient data processing and low resource costs, thus many major enterpriseslaunches public cloud computing platform. However, many enterprises still hold thedoubtful attitude toward the ability of public cloud computing platform to protect thecore business process and data security of the enterprises. This thesis tries to presentthe deployment plan of private cloud within the enterprises, carrying out theunification of resources scheduling, data access control and audit facility through theprivate cloud computing platform, in order to ensure the safety of enterprises’information data and stability of the service. Therefore, the author chooses the relatedtheories and technologies of private cloud as the emphasis of this paper.Below are main research contents and innovation points of this paper.First, the thesis makes investigation and summary on the current research andbackground of the related fields of cloud computing home and abroad, analyzingadvantages and characteristics of clod computing development and dissecting deeplythe core technology relating to clod computing.Second, combining the characteristics of cloud computing, this paper makes acomparison among the main cloud computing technologies of the current industryfrom two aspects of software architecture and virtualization support, resulting indisplaying outstanding technical performance of OpenStack. This thesis makes deepresearch and analysis of technology development and core component of OpenStack,which also designs and achieves private cloud computing platform applying tomedium-small enterprises based on OpenStack technology. By means of this platform,enterprises are able to realize the unification of controlling, monitoring andscheduling on computing resource pool of server cluster, as well as allocating ofcomputing resources on demand to users via virtualization.Thirdly, to improve the fault-tolerant ability of OpenStack private cloud computing platform and the stability of cloud platform, the paper proposes the improvement planof fault tolerance, which helps to improve the fault-tolerant ability and reduce avariety of abnormal conditions caused by error messages.Fourthly, there makes a performance test of private cloud computing platform,which proves that private cloud computing platform can enhance the utilization ofcomputing resources and stability of cloud service, also analyze the shortage ofprivate cloud computing platform.This thesis discusses and realizes the solution of private cloud computing platformby studying the related theories of private cloud and OpenStack technology, offeringbeneficial reference for enterprises in deploying cloud computing platform to improvethe efficiency of cloud application and reduce the difficulty of users’ maintainingapplication system.
