Vocational college teachers in their career experiments and disproportionate period,calm and alienation as well conservative and complaining are prone to job burnout.Occupational burnout is not only related to the health,but also affect students to learn.Therefore,rational and positive treatment,the use of a reasonable way out of job burnout is the urgent problem faced by higher vocational teachers.This paper is based on the domestic and foreign research results of teacher burnout and coping styles,chooses the higher vocational teachers as a group to study the correlation between their job burnout and coping style.The study adopts Maslach et al.for the preparation of the poetry education industry international occupation burnout scale and Xiao et al.Preparation of the coping style scale.A questionnaire survey was conducted among 350 teachers in the higher vocational colleges in Hunan province.The T test,variance analysis,correlation analysis and regression analysis were conducted with SPSS software,Summed up the relationship between job burnout and coping styles.The results show that:vocational teachers generally have burnout problems,there are significant differences in gender,age,title,income,teachingcurriculum attribute.Higher vocational teachers' coping styles have significant differences in gender,age,income,job title,in the teaching curriculum attribute difference weak;The positive coping style and job burnout was significantly negatively correlated,that is,to solve the problem and help to suppress job burnout has a catalytic role.Negative coping style and job burnout was significantly negatively correlated,that is,rationalization,self-blame,fantasy,retreat on the job burnout has a negative effect;In the regression analysis,it is concluded that the coping style has a considerable influence on the job burnout,that is to say,the retreat is the most harmful to the job burnout in the six dimensions of the coping style.Based on the above conclusions and the present situation of higher vocational education in China,this paper puts forward some countermeasures about the society,organization and teachers' individual.Through the improvement of higher vocational education and social atmosphere,to improve the status of teachers of higher vocational education and welfare;National attention,vigorously develop;To strengthen self construction and reform of higher vocational colleges;Improve school leadership,pay attention to teachers' development;Strengthen the construction of virtue,enhance personal charisma;Personal right view of occupation burnout,master skills;Reasonable diet,exercise body;Race the difficulties do not retreat,believe in yourself;Reading books;Participate in public welfare activities to ease the professional burnout of teachers.
