ObjectiveThis study investigated the teachers of vocational colleges to understand theteachers’ job burnout, social support and coping style from the perspective ofpsychology. To explore the relationships between job burnout, social support andcoping style. Analyzing their impact on teachers’ job burnout so as to cause theattention of relevant departments about teachers’ job burnout and provide some cluesto solve the problem and the direction. Thereby reducing the adverse factors ofteachers’ job burnout, making a contribution to the education career.MethodsThree vocational technology colleges were selected by cluster randomstamping method of Henan province, and1200students were randomly selected. Weestablished a database with Epidata3.0and finished data entry. Data was analyzed bySPSS17.0statistics software. Independent-Samples t Test and One-way ANOVA wasadopted in single factor analysis, and Partial Correlations and Linear Regression wasadopted for analyzing the relationships between the social support, coping style andthe job burnout.ResultsVocational technology college teachers’ job burnout situation is general, lowsense of achievement is the most serious, the level of emotional exhaustion is thelowest.Vocational technology college teachers’ job burnout was statisticallysignificant in gender, age, marital status, length of service and the title(P<0.05).Vocational technology college teachers’ social support was statisticallysignificant in gender, age, marital status, education background, length of serviceand the title(P<0.05). Vocational technology college teachers’ coping style was statisticallysignificant in gender, age, marital status, education background, length of serviceand the title(P<0.05).Social support was negatively related to the dimensions of job burnout.Solving problem and assistance were significant negatively correlation withall dimensions of job burnout; self-blame, fantasy, retreatment and rationalizationwas significant positively related to each dimension of job burnout.Multipleregression analysis showed that social support and all the dimensions of coping stylecan be used to predict the job burnout.ConclusionVocational technology college teachers’ job burnout is general; job burnout,social support and coping style of different demographic characteristics wassignificant different, Should be to relieve job burnout of teachers according to thecharacteristics of Vocational technology college; social support was negativelyrelated to the dimensions of job burnout; solving problem and assistance weresignificant negatively correlation with all dimensions of job burnout; self-blame,fantasy, retreatment and rationalization was significant positively related to eachdimension of job burnout; multiple regression analysis showed that social supportand all the dimensions of coping style can be used to predict the job burnout, Showsthat social support and coping style is the more important factors on Job Burnout.
