Although the chinese curriculum reform has been developed for more than decade,there are some problems behind it,such as the inefficiency in reading instruction,the single teaching thought and so on.To improve the quality,plenty of experts and scholars have spared no efforts to improve the teaching skill of the excellent teachers.As a pioneer of curriculum reform,Yingchao Yu,the famous and outstanding chinese teacher,comes up with a design philosophy on reading teaching---enough exercise and abundant accumulation of teaching skill,make requests on reading instruction---putting emphasis on text itself,reading,analysis,methods as well as accumulation.In addition,he,creatively puts forward the mode of segment teaching,which requires the contents and process being arranged systematically,so as to optimize the contents,concise the process and increase efficiency of classroom teaching.Thus,it is necessary for us to have a detailed study on this kind of thought to guiding teaching fulfillment in the near future.This paper is composed by three parts,introduction,body and conclusion.There will be four chapters to analyze the body part.Instruction: This part is going to elaborate the background,literature review,objective,meaning,content,key and difficult points as well as some possible innovation ideas and the method of this whole paper.The first chapter: This part gives the introduction of Yingchao Yu and how does his segment teaching thought come into being,presenting its three steps by studying the background of the new curriculum reform.Organizing materials and improving themselves;Proposing hypothesis and daring practice;Constructing the theory and researching it systematically.The second part: This part is the overview,which combines this thought with cases.There are two points as follows: One is the conception to define this thought,and another is to present its teaching features,like concision,flexibility,distinction as well as diversified design standpoints,which includes the clear course,concise process and ability training.The third part: By case analysis,this part will discuss the implementation of this segment teaching thought.It can not only help us to study how to optimize the teaching contents,how to perform the teaching progress vividly and how to lower the difficulty of learning chinese skillfully,but also analyze detailedly the disadvantages in teaching,including the division of contents,the turnover of humanity during teaching process and the decrease of students' creativity.The forth part: This part,studying objectively the segment teaching thought on theory,help us to learn its advantages and reflect deficiencies so as to obtain feasible strategies in guiding the teaching practice.Conclusion: This part will point out insufficient of this paper and motivate us to have further analysis on this subject research.
