Since the New Curriculum Standard was issued,as a new textual form,the non-continuous text has gradually drawn the attention of many Chinese teachers.However,the corresponding research of the reading instruction is still under exploration at present.What's more,most of the Chinese teachers pay more attention to the test-oriented requirements,and they have not mastered the scientific teaching strategy yet,so the current situation is not that optimistic.Based on the summarization and induction of the corresponding texts in Chinese textbooks of middle school of PEP edition,together with the investigation and research of the practical teaching situation during the internship,this study tries to find the problems existing in it and propose corresponding countermeasures for the whole study.The research of the reading instruction on non-continuous Chinese text in middle school is mainly based on the following four aspects.First of all,the introduction part mainly focuses on the origin,the current situation,the methodology and the significance of the research.Based on previous studies,this paper will further explore the teaching strategies of non-continuous text in middle school with the methods of literature analysis and questionnaire survey.Secondly,the paper defines the related concepts of non-continuous text,takes the Chinese textbooks of middle school of the PEP edition for example,summarizes and analyzes the constituents and characteristics of related texts.Thus,the value of doing this research can be mainly divided into three aspects: to enrich the form of Chinese reading and expand reading horizon,to cultivate the student's reading interest and improve reading efficiency,and to improve the students' reading attainments comprehensively.Thirdly,there is a case study which helps understand the current teaching situation through the questionnaires taken from three middle schools.The major problems lie in the poor understanding of the non-continuous text for most teachers,the improper selection of teaching contents,and also the misuse of teaching strategy,etc.Finally,this paper analyzes the existing problems and proposes corresponding countermeasures.On the construction of teaching concept,there is a need of the insight into the dynamic research to enhance teaching attainments,a clear mind about the requirements of the curriculum standard to grasp the learning goals,and also a firm belief of life to change the teacher-oriented concept.On the selection of teaching contents,people should pay attention to the teaching methods of non-continuous text in the textbooks,focus on the non-continuous text materials in life and also strengthen the infiltration between different subjects.As for the organization of the teaching activities,there is a need of the thematic teaching combined with the teaching of continuous text and comprehensive practical activities.What's more,take several common types for example to propose corresponding countermeasures.The reading of non-continuous text is of great significance for the present middle school students.It is expected that this study will provide some references for middle school teachers to carry out the teaching instruction of non-continuous text.
