| Extracurricular reading is an indispensable part of Chinese teaching.It has a noticeable effect on stimulating students’ interest in learning and cultivating the Chinese learning ability.Meanwhile,it also has the profound significance on the improvement of students’ Chinese accomplishment.With the continuous deepening of curriculum reform,more and more educators are aware of the importance of extracurricular reading,conduct a series of research about extracurricular reading and apply it to practice.Through their efforts,the content of extracurricular reading is expanded and the time is guaranteed.The improvement of objective conditions,junior high school students’ Chinese extracurricular reading interest has been improved.However,there are still some problems in junior high school students’ extracurricular reading,such as single content,inefficient use of time,lack of reading guidance,etc.These problems will be the source power of this research.Based on constructivist learning theory and zone of proximal development theory,the research integrates use of literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.By using the literature method to collect,sort and analyze the information on extracurricular reading,and then determine the dimensions of this research.The dimensions include the attitude,content,time,habit,effect and instruction of extracurricular reading.On this basis,the research investigates the current situation of junior high school students’ extracurricular reading.The research takes 560 students of three junior high schools as questionnaire survey object and takes12 teachers and 9 students as interview object.According to the results of questionnaire survey and interview,analyze the current situation of junior high school students’ Chinese extracurricular reading,find out the existing problems,probe into the cause of the problems,then put forward the feasible countermeasures to solve the problems.The research includes six parts.The first part expounds the question proposed,theresearch significance,the review and comment on the extracurricular reading at home and abroad,the theoretical basis of this research and related concepts defined.The second part introduces the research methods used in this research,mainly including literature method,questionnaire survey method and interview method.The third part analyzes the current situation of junior high school students’ Chinese extracurricular reading,including questionnaire survey and interview.The fourth part,combining with the research’s results,analyzes the current situation of junior high school students’ Chinese extracurricular reading,finds out the problems,then probes into the cause of the problems.The fifth part puts forward the corresponding improvement strategies that are based on the existing problems and analysis of reasons.The sixth part is the conclusion,innovation and reflection of this research. |
