| Shen Zhen Sports School is aiming at cultivating and finding the seedling whom has great potential for sports.There are big differences between sports school and ordinary school in teaching objectives and teaching methods.For example,the students in the sports school go to class for half day and train for another half day,the time for common lesson and spare time are both limited.In addition,the students often go out for competitions,sometimes last for more than a month,or less than a few days.After returning to school,they didn’t make up the missed lessons,resulting in a very weak cultural foundation.In class,students often fall asleep because they can’t understand.In order to change this teaching situation,the author aims at extracurricular reading,hoping to expand students’ thinking through extracurricular reading,improve students’ reading ability,writing ability and overall cultural literacy.The author takes all junior middle school students in Shenzhen sports school as the objects,and issues a questionnaire survey to investigate the time spent by students in extracurricular reading,their interest in extracurricular reading,their favorite reading types,and the obstacles they are faced with in extracurricular reading.In addition to the questionnaire survey,the author also interviewed some students and teachers,and got a lot of valuable information.Through the comprehensive analysis of the survey and interview results,the author concludes that there are several obvious situations in the extracurricular reading of junior middle school students in sports school,including the lack of reading time,the low interest in reading,the type of reading dominated by fantasy,the limited reading methods,the low time limit for reading,and the poor reading experience.Some of these conditions hinder the students’ extracurricular reading,some reflect the urgent problems in the current reading,and others are of great significance to guide students’ reading.For this reason,the author has carried on the thorough and the careful analysis to these present situations,in order to find out the reason "suits the medicine to the case",provides the basis for the following strategic research.On the basis of the above questionnaire survey and result analysis,the author puts forward four strategies to promote the extracurricular reading of junior middle school students in physical education school from the perspective of practicability and feasibility,which are to make a reasonable extracurricular reading plan,stimulate the interest in extracurricular reading,strengthen the guidance of extracurricular reading methods,improve the quality of teachers,etc.The author has personally practiced these strategies in the first-line teaching,and analyzed their respective operation methods and practical values in the paper with the case study.However,due to the limited research conditions and the weakness of my own strength,the author only studies and practices these four strategies,and puts forward my own views.In the future,the author will continue to study and reflect,hoping to put forward more practical and feasible strategies for junior high school students’ extracurricular reading.At the same time,I hope that the less rigorous research can bring more enlightenment for the students’ extracurricular reading in sports school,and provide guidance and inspiration for the chinese teachers’ extracurricular reading activities in sports school. |
