In recent years, with the continuous development of education reform, the education of local history gradually entered the people's view, the education of local history is our country is of vital importance to the education of traditional culture in a link, is a combination of native culture, guide the student to carry on the traditional education is an important part, has attracted the attention of educational circles, all levels of government and the teacher. Hainan provincial historical and cultural heritage deep, formed with the highlight of Hainan characteristics of local history resources. In this paper, through the use of pedagogy and history and so on many kinds of subjects, using a questionnaire survey, discussion and communication methods, in the grasp of the Haikou education sector in the first hand information, a comprehensive understanding of the Haikou City local history curriculum teaching present situation, analysis of the existence of various problems and contradictions,and puts forward some suggestions to solve the problem.
