A Study Of Social Assistance Of The Children In Distress Participated By Non-governmental Organisations

In recent years,with the high-speed development and rapid growth of the non-governmental organisations,non-governmental organisations are more and more involved in the national public affairs as the emerging social forces.In the field of social assistance of the children in distress,non-governmental organisations have become powerful supplement of the government.In the current situation of government departments understaffed,low professional and having a single source of funding,non-governmental organisations demonstrate wide-range and diversified forms of social assistance.In the same time,the high professional and younger staff make obviously effective in social assistance.However,non-governmental organisations still have various problems.This study sets the case "protection of rainy season",which is participated by Guangxi Jiahe Social Work Service Center,an example to analyse successful experiences and existed problems,study the work of social assistance of the children in distress participated by non-governmental organisations and finally suggest reasonable measures in order to make full use of non-governmental organisations and advance social assistance of the children in distress.
