| The meaning in life,has been concerned by psychologists from the 70 s of last century,and now,with the rise of positive psychology,it becomes one of the focus of psychological concern once again.My research is to investigate the contemporary middle school students' meaning in life and its influencing factors,to explore the relationship among the meaning in life,the moral atmosphere in school and conscience.And through which,to provide some constructional suggestions for improving their meaning in life.My paper use the meaning in life questionnaire(Chinese version)developed by Stager,Qiu Xiaoyan 's conscience questionnaire and school moral atmosphere questionnaire customized Li Weiqiang.The students are from 5 middle school in Hunan Province joined this survey.A total of 700 questionnaires were distributed,and a total of 682 copies were recovered,including valid data of 648 copies.After analyzing the data,the following conclusions are obtained:(1)Middle school students' meaning in life development is in the upper level,among which,the development level of seaching for meaning is higher than that of experience.(2)Middle school students' gender?the one-child or the child with siblings?grade will influence their life in meaning scores.(3)Tolerance,filial piety,responsibility included in Conscience can positively predict the meaning in life of middle school students.(4)The perceived level of school justice and school care can predict the meaning in life of middle school student.(5)The study also shows an interactive effect of Conscienceand school moral atmosphere on middle school students' meaning in life.As moderator variable,the level of the conscience would highlight the school moral atmosphere's role to the meaning in life of middle school students. |
