Research On The Mechanism Of Time Management Disposition On The Sense Of Life Meaning Of Middle School Students

With the rise and development of positive psychology,the sense of life meaning has gradually become the focus of psychology and other disciplines.The sense of life meaning is an important goal in individual life.In this process,our understanding of life and the perception of goals and values are the sense of life meaning.At the same time,time is important resource of life.As a reflection of the personality characteristics of individuals in time management,the time management disposition will have an impact on the sense of life meaning of individuals.The middle school period is important for individuals to pursue self and form values.In this study,the group of middle school students is taken as the object to further discuss the influence mechanism of time management disposition on the sense of life meaning,which provides certain reference value for the growth and development of middle school students from both theoretical and practical perspectives.In this study,questionnaire survey was used to measure the time management disposition,self-consistency and congruence,locus of control and sense of life meaning of middle school students,with an effective sample size of 642.Regression analysis,Bootstrap and other statistical methods were used to discuss the relationship between these variables.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)There is no significant difference in gender,family location,and whether the only child has a sense of life meaning and its various dimensions in middle school students;the grades and family structure are significantly different in the sense of life meaning,presence of meaning,and search for meaning dimension.(2)There is a negative correlation between time management disposition,sense of life meaning and total score of self-consistency and congruence,and there is a positive correlation between time management disposition and sense of life meaning.(3)Self-consistency and congruence plays a mediating role between the time management disposition and the sense of life meaning,that is,the time management disposition can not only directly affect,but also indirectly affect the sense of life meaning of middle school students through self-consistency and congruence.(4)The locus of control plays a moderator in the relationship between the time management disposition and self-consistency and congruence.At the same time,the locus of control can moderate the direct path between the time management disposition and the sense of life meaning.(5)The time management disposition,self-consistency and congruence,locus of control and sense of life meaning constitutes a mediated moderator model.
