| In the past,studies of Liang-xin scales based on Chinese cultural backgrounds were mostly directed at digging out behavioral samples related to Mencius’ s Liang-xin thoughts from research objects,and summing them up into Liang-xin scales;or directly equating Liang-xin with morality,from the perspective of psychology.Starting from the four perspectives of feelings,feelings,intentions and actions,compile a Liang-xin scale.Cultural psychology believes that psychological phenomena and individual cultural backgrounds are interrelated and inseparable.Mencius’ s Liang-xin has a profound cultural background in China.Even the Chinese in modern society can still see the existence of Mencius’ Liang-xin in many words and deeds.In other words,Liang-xin is a relatively stable cultural schema.It must have a specific influence on the Chinese people’s moral psychology.Then,based on the constitutional structure of Mencius,is it possible to compile a Liang-xin scale that is unique to Mencius’ Liangxin?This study first determined the structure of Mencius’ Liang-xin by means of literature research.It consists of five dimensions,namely,Ce-yin,Xiu-chi,Yan-wu,Jing-rang,and Shi-fei.In order to better fit the research subjects,the deductive method was used to compile the scale.At the same time,the induction method was used.Two junior high schools and two high schools were selected in Guizhou and Jiangsu.211 open questionnaires were distributed to complete the preparation of the original question bank.After selecting the 43 students in the first grade to carry out the general degree test,331 questionnaires were collected from each of the primary and secondary schools in Guizhou Province.Through the methods of project analysis and structural analysis,29 items and 5 dimensions of formal Liang-xin scale were initially determined.Subsequently,613 data were recovered in Guizhou and Jiangsu,and internal consistency reliability and test-retest reliability were used to test the reliability of the scale.Content validity,construct validity,SEM-based aggregation and discriminant validity,and validity criteria were used in conjunction.Validity was used to test the validity of the scale,and MIMIC was also used to test the functional differences of the Liang-xin scale.Finally,it describes the statistical analysis of the level of Liang-xin of middle school students,analysis of gender differences and the comparison of grade differences.At the same time,it discusses the relationship between the Liang-xin of middle school students and the meaning of life and life satisfaction.Research indicates:(1)Liang-xin refers to the pro-social nature of individual’s moral emotions and moral judgments such as concealment,shame,and disgust,and their emphasis on harmonious interpersonal relationships.Including five dimensions: Ce-yin,Xiu-chi,Yan-wu,Jing-rang,and Shi-fei.(2)The self-compiled middle school student’s Liang-xin scale has good reliability and can be used to measure the Liang-xin of middle school students.(3)The Liang-xin scores of middle school students generally have a nearly normal distribution,and most of them are in the middle level.The overall level of the Liangxin of middle school students and the level of each dimension are above average.In terms of gender differences,although there is a significant difference between the total score and the dimension of the Liang-xin,only the difference above the total score of Liang-xin reaches a medium level;in the difference between grades,the total score of Liang-xin and its dimensions are not limited to those other than the heart.From the lower grades to the higher grades,there has been a significant decline.(4)The level of Liang-xin of middle school students will promote the improvement of their level of meaning in life and thus improve their life satisfaction. |
