| Objective : To study the safety and the efficacy of yiqi nourishing yin,clear heat and detoxification method in the treatment of recurrent subacute thyroiditis.Methods:Collect 30 cases of patients diagnosed with type of recurrent subacute thyroiditis by Hubei Province Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.All patients were treated with oral Chinese medicine.Eight weeks was a course of treatment.By self-contrast method,to observe the changes of clinical symptoms and signs,erythrocyte sedimentation rate,thyroid function and observe the time of pain relief,the time of antipyretic and the improvement of blood seimentation.To observe the recurrence of the subjects within six months after receiving the treatment.All data were analyzed by the SPSS 22.0 statistics software.Results:(1)General situation: among the 30 patients,25(83.33%)are female,and 5 are males(16.67%).The ratio of males to females is 1:5.The maximum age is 59 years old,the youngest is 20 years old,and the average is 43.62±9.50 years old,the incidence to a maximum of 41-50 years old.Among the 30 subjects,the longest duration is 12 months,the shortest 7 days and the average 45.33±64.3 days.Among the 30 subjects,fever symptoms as the main manifestation in 3 cases(10%),to thyroid site pain mainly manifested in 11 cases(36.67%),fever and pain in 16 cases(53.33%).The extent of pain,slight pain,pain in 8 cases(26.67 %),obvious pain in 12 cases(40 %),and radioactive pain in 7 cases(23.33%).Fever heat characteristics,low heat(?37.5?)in 9 cases(30%),medium heat(37.6-38 ?)in 8 cases(23.33%),2 cases of higher fever(38.1-39?)(6.67%).Among the 30 subjects,goiter in 18 cases.(2)After treatment of TCM,the TCM symptom scores of the subjects decreased significantly(P<0.01,P<0.05).(3)After treatment of TCM,the pain disappeared in the shortest 2 days,and the longest 35 days,the average pain relief time was 14.21 ±8.17 days.After taking the traditional Chinese medicine,the shortest time of pyretolysis is 6 days,and the longest 45 days,average cooling time 31.92 ±7.58 days.After treatment of TCM,blood sedimentation returned to normal in the shortest 7 days,and the longest 42 days,average recovery time 25.84±11.64 days.(4)Comparison of blood sedimentation rate before and after treatment:Before treatment,18 were faster and 12 were normal.The blood sedimentation rate of all patients returned to normal after treatment.(P < 0.05).(5)Before treatment,11 cases of hyperthyroidism or subclinical hyperthyroidism(36.67%),hypothyroidism in 1 patients(3.33%),and normal thyroid function in 18 patients(60%).After treatment,0 case of hyperthyroidism or subclinical,hyperthyroidism in 2 patients(6.67%),and 28 patients with normal thyroid function(93.33%).(6)Among the 30 subjects,19 cases were clinically controlled,8 were effected excellently,3 cases had effective results,0 was ineffective,and the total effective rate was 100%.(7)Recurrence: during the six months of follow-up,1 case relapsed and the recurrence rate was 3.33%.(8)The urine analysis,stool routine,blood analysis,function of liver and kidney,electrocardiogram were all normal in the all patients during treatment.Conclusions:The study results show that treatment of recurrent subacute thyroiditis with yiqi and nourishing yin,clear heat and detoxification method,can obviously improve clinical symptoms and blood sedimentation.And the recurrence rate is low.The method is safe and effective. |
