Effect Of Contact Dermatitis On Efficacy Of Acupoint Application In Treatment Of Asthma And TSLP Content In Peripheral Blood

Objective:To observe the effect of contact dermatitis induced by acupoint application on the treatment of asthma and its effect on the content of TSLP in blood circulation,and to explore the possible mechanism of acupoint application inducing contact dermatitis to treat asthma.Methods:To select 41 patients with bronchial asthma in remission stage cases who accept Acupoint Application therapy in Acupuncture and rehabilitation Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine from June 2017 to August.According to whether there are contact dermatitis after acupoint application,they were divided into contact dermatitis group and contactless dermatitis group,including 22 cases of contact dermatitis group and 19 cases of contactless dermatitis group.(1)asthma adult asthma quality of life score(AQLQ)and asthma control test(ACT)score were recorded respectively before treatment and 3 months after treatment,6 months after treatment and 1 years before treatment in the same period.(2)the changes of TSLPmRNA content in the blood of the patients with asthma before and after treatment are detected by RT-PCR method.Results:(1)Baseline comparison:There are no significant differences in the scores of AQLQ,ACT and TSLP between two groups before treatment(P>0.05).(2)AQLQ results:?Two groups' scores of limited mobility and response to a source of stimulation,3 months after treatment and 6 months after treatment compared with the same period last year are both increased,the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).?Two groups,scores of asthma symptom and self-health care,3 months after treatment compared to the same period last year are both increased,the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05);but the contact dermatitis group,the scores of 6 months after treatment over the same period last year is increased,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),no contact dermatitis group,the scores of 6 months after treatment compared with the same period last year,there is no significant differences(P>0.05).?Two groups' scores of mental health,contact dermatitis group's scores of 3 months after treatment and 6 months after treatment compared with the same period last year are both increased,the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05);no contact dermatitis group,the scores of 6 months after treatment compared to the same period last year is increased,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in scores of 3 months after treatment compared with the same period last year(P>0.05).?there are no significant differences in AQLQ scores between the two groups after 3 months of treatment and 6 months after treatment(P>0.05),However,3 months after treatment to 6 months after treatment in the contact dermatitis group,the decreased trend of activity limitation,asthma symptoms,and self health care scores may be slower than that in the non contact dermatitis group.(3)ACT results:?the ACT scores of the two groups,3 months after treatment compared to the same period last year are both increased,the differences are statistically significant(P<0.05);but the contact dermatitis group,the scores of 6 months after treatment over the same period last year is increased,the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05),no contact dermatitis group,the scores of 6 months after treatment compared with the same period last year,there is no significant differences(P>0.05).?There are no significant differences in ACT scores between the two groups after 3 months of treatment and 6 months after treatment(P>0.05).However,the ACT score of the contact dermatitis group may increase after 3 months to 6 months after treatment,while the contactless dermatitis group may be on a downward trend.(4)The test results of TSLP in the peripheral blood:the two groups' value of TSLPmRNA 2^-? CT after the treatment compared with before treatment are decreased,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01);TSLPmRNA2^-?CT value was lower in contact dermatitis group than in contactless dermatitis group after treatment(P>0.05).but the contact dermatitis groups' value of TSLPmRNA 2^-??CT is lower than the non-contact dermatitis group,but the difference has no statistical significance(P>0.05).Conclusion:1)Acupoint application is effective in treating asthma,and the curative effect has certain maintenance effect.Contact dermatitis may be maintain the curative effect for a longer time.(2)Acupoint application in the treatment of asthma may be by reducing the TSLP content in the peripheral blood of the asthmatic patients to improve the asthma attack,and may induce the contact dermatitis to have a more obvious tendency to decrease the TSLP content than the non contact dermatitis.
