Objective: To investigate the status of clinical nurses subjective well-being and emotional intelligence,to analyze the correlation between subjective well-being and emotional intelligence of clinical nurses.Methods: Totally 287 clinical nurses were recruited by convenience sampling method from three tertiary first class hospital in Wuhan.They were investigated with the general information,general well-being schedule and emotional intelligence scale.The SPSS 22.0 software was used to analyze the data.Results: 1.The subjective well-being score of clinical nurses was(70.05 ±12.80),the dimension scores from high to low was Melancho ly cheerful mood(4.89±1.09),Energy(4.03±1.08),Emotional and behavioral control(3.98 ±0.71),Loose piece and tension(3.69±1.00),Health worries(3.27±1.13),Life satisfaction and interest(3.04±0.77).2.Different educational background,job title,ni ght shift frequency,working pressure of clinical nurses subjective well-being score difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).3.The emotional intelligence score of clinical nurses was(58.95 ±14.78),the dimension scores from high to low is Self-emotional appraisal(15.77±4.33),Use of emotion(14.88±4.13),Others emotional appraisal(14.37 ±3.86),Regulation of emotion(13.93±4.26).4.The subjective well-being was positively correlated to the emotional intelligence of clinical nurses(r=0.545,P<0.01).5.The influencing factors of clinical nurses subjective well-being were regulation of emotion(Beta=0.374),working pressure(Beta=-0.270),use of emotion(Beta= 0.181).Conclusions: 1.Clinical nurses subjective well-being was at the medium level.2.Undergraduate,nurse practitioner,night shift frequency once or twice a week,working pressure more of clinical nurses subjective well-being was low.3.Clinical nurses emotional intelligence was at the medium level.4.To improve clinical nurses regulation of emotion and use of emotion,reduce clinical nurses working pressure,to improve clinical nurses subjective well-being.
