The Study On Investigation And Intervention Of Emotional Intelligence Of Community Nurses

1 Objectives(1)To know the status and influencing factors of community nurses'emotional intelligence,and to find out the characteristics and aspects to be improved,to provide a clear direction for further intervention.(2)Adopted group counseling intervention form and evaluated the effect of application.The purpose is to provide reference basis for related studies of improving community nurses'mental health,and to provide reference to carry out community nurses'emotional management,deepen.2 Methods(1)Research study:Using Emotional Intelligence Scale,test a sample of 200 community nurses from Chengguan and Qilihe regions of Lanzhou to know the present status and influencing factors of emotional intelligence.And having a semi-structured interview with 11of 200 on that basis to make up feelings and thoughts of community nurses'emotional intelligence ignored in questionnaire survey.(2)Intervention study:Using cluster sampling method,60 community nurses from Chengguan were selected in the intervention study to intervene,divided into two groups:experimental group and control group,each of them has 30 nurses.seven emotional intelligence group guidances in the experiment group,control group of normal work and life.Both groups were tested by emotional intelligence scale at pre-test,after intervention and a month later.3 Results(1)Investigation study results(1)Questionnaire evaluationReliability:the total table's Cronbach's a coefficient is 0.818,the test-retest reliability is0.809,the reliability is high.Validity:Confirmatory factor analysis results:?~2/df=2.037<3,RMSEA=0.052<0.10,CFI=0.906>0.80,NFI=0.935>0.90,NNFI=0.930>0.90.Thequestionnaire has good validity.(2)The results of questionnaire researchThe total score of community nurses'emotional intelligence was 3.74±0.16."Age","education degree","marital status","the year of working"are the main factors of emotional intelligence,having significant differences in scores of statistical(P<0.05).(3)The results of qualitative researchThemes of the experience of community nurses'emotional intelligences were summed up:“more negaive energy”,“weak psychosoelas-ticity”,“poor interpersonal interaction”,“less social support”.(2)Intervention study results(1)The result of the pre-test between the test group and control group:there are no difference between two groups in all dimensions and total points score of emotional intelligence(P>0.05).But the post-test result shows that two groups have difference in total points score of emotional intelligence and dimensions of controling emotion,percepting emotion,understanding emotion(P<0.05).A month later,the delay post-test shows that two groups have difference in total points score of emotional intelligence and dimensions of controling,percepting,understanding emotion(P<0.05).(2)The result of the pre-test and post-test for control group:there is no difference in all dimensions and total points score of emotional intelligence(P>0.05).the data of pre-test and delay post-test has no difference in total points score and all dimensions(P>0.05).And the result of the post-test and delay post-test is no difference in all dimensions and total points score(P>0.05).(3)The score of emotion intelligence on the test group's pre-test and post-test has difference in total points score and dimensions of percepting emotion,understanding emotion(P<0.05).The result of the pre-test and delay post-test has difference in total points score and dimensions of percepting emotion,understanding emotion(P<0.05).But there are no difference in post-test and delay post-test(P>0.05).4 Conclusions(1)The level of community nurses'emotional intelligence is moderate.Dimensions of percepting,understanding and using emotional scored the lower,therefore these dimensions are the key part of the intervention study.(2)"Age","education degree","marital status","the year of working"are the main factors of community nurses'emotional intelligence.“More negaive energy”,“weak psychoso elasti-city”,“poor interpersonal interaction”,“less social support”are the main characterisics.(3)Application of group counseling intervention has positive and effective role in improving community nurses'emotional intelligence.And there is a significantly improvem-ent in percepting emotional,understanding emotional.
