Purpose:According to the existing research results of estrogen supplement, lactic acid bacteria, antibiotics alone or combined treatment and prevention in postmenopausal women with urinary tract infection, and evaluate the safety and efficacy of these measures. Methods:The literature of Chinese and English literatures were collected by computer to collect the studis about the treatment and prevention of urinary tract infection in postmenopausal women.Customize the appropriate literature inclusion, exclusion criteria, and then two literature independent screening, literature quality evaluation, literature data extraction, etc. Finally, statistical analysis concluded. Results:A total of 309 articles were retrieved in the first round, since the majority of the literature could not meet the inclusion criteria, and only about 9 articles were included in this review. The 2-5 score was assigned by the JADAD scale. The average score was 3.6.The age of the study population was 46-91 years of age,and the age of the study population was 56-79.9.The number of subjects included in the study was 40-252,with a median of 106.The duration of follow-up and intervention was between 8 and 12 months, with a study of up to a period of up to 6 months, followed up for up to 12 months.Contrasting the intervention and placebo,it is worth noting that there were also some placebo groups decreased rate of urinary tract infection phenomenon,so the implementation of some experimental interventions to prevent urinary tract infections ineffective, other oral estrogen as intervention in reducing or preventing unexpectedly did not achieve the desired results of urinary system infection.According to the results of the analysis, the current treatment and prevention of postmenopausal women with urinary tract infection is still the means of antibiotics and topical use of estrogen therapy. Conclusions:Postmenopausal women are a group of special groups of patients, recurrent risk of urinary tract infections, but the clinical results of the present study in the prevention and treatment of postmenopausal women not good after urinary tract infection. At present, the main way to prevent and treat urinary tract infection in postmenopausal women is to use antibiotics and estrogen. However, the development of new clinical drugs or experimental drugs are also in the development and testing, which may have some more worthy of looking forward to the intervention.Traditional Chinese medicine is broad and profound,in which traditional prescriptions, acupuncture and so on are also in postmenopausal women with urinary tract infection prevention and treatment has a good performance. The research scholars of different countries also have a more in-depth study, the results of which are also worth looking forward to.
