Objectives The topic to determine the lumbar bone mineral density(BMD),blood lipid four items(including serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)of healthy men in our hospital for medical examination,and the relationship between BMD and age,body mass index(BMI)and blood lipid four items were investigated.Methods: 1.General data collection: to investigate the research object of the age,past medical history,history,medication situation by the question survey,and to measure the height,weight,calculate the BMI,screened meets the requirements of 251 healthy men physical examinees according to the topic requirements.2.BMD test: to test the BMD by Discovery-Wi digital dual energy X-ray absorptiometry(DXA)produced by Hologic company in the United States,after daily startup,firstly with spine model to perform the system test,the system will run automatically(Auto QC)quality control test.to detect the human body BMD After the quality control qualified,Measurement site and methods: input physical examiner's gender,birth date,height,weight to computer,ask the person to remove the keys,zipper,metal items,so as not to affect the results,examiner lie flat on the measurement bed,with DXA to measure lumbar(L1-4)BMD,to avoid operation error,BMD test are done by the same professional and technical personnel,to control instrument by a microcomputer,the results automatically generated after analyzing.3.Blood lipid four items detection: The examiner no food and water more than 8 h,the venous blood was collected 5 m L between 8 PM to 10 PM on the morning,Centrifugal and isolated serum,lipid four items detection need to complete within 4 h,Centrifugal and isolated serum,lipid four items detection need to complete within 4 h by automatic biochemical analyzer produced Shenzhen mindray,Reagent is provided by Shanxi DE union trade co.,LTD.before each batch of samples tested,the project quality control testing need to complete by quality control product that matching the detection project.Results 1.The average age?TC,LDL-C of the bone loss(osteoporosis,OP)group is higher than the no OP group,there was no statistically significant difference(P>0.05).However,BMI was contrary trend,the difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).2.L1-4 BMD and BMI(r=0.314,P<0.05)showed positive correlation,On the contrary,TC(r = 0.181,P<0.05,HDL-C(r = 0.141,P < 0.05)showed a negative correlation;,To conduct the partial correlation analysis between BMD and TG,TC,HDL and LDL-C by controlling the age and BMI L1-4 BMD and TC(r=0.197,P<0.05)still showed a negative correlation,and TG(r =0.145,P<0.05),LDL-C(r =0.148,P <0.05)showed a negative correlation.3.Logistic regression analysis was carried out on the OP related risk factors: age,BMI,TC,TG,LDL-C and HDL-C as independent variable,regression analysis with the OP as the dependent variable.Results showed that men's BMI is the influence factors of OP by controlling the effect of other variables,and BMI(regression coefficient B = 0.612,P<0.05)is the protective factors.Conclusion 1.The appropriate increase of men's BMI may reduce the risk of OP occurrence.2.The long-term hyperlipidemia patients could reduce the risk of the OP occurrence by positive cholesterol-lowering therapy.
