| The disease of Metabolic Syndrome (MS) is glucose regulations damage or diabetes, and(or)insulin resist, and following two or two more components: such as hypertension, high triglyceride, high low density liprotein, central obesity, microalbuminuria. High glucose and hyperlipemia not only influence whole blood viscosity, but also alternate blood rheological character of red blood cell, which could cause the alteration of hemorheology. Now hemorheology has become an important reason of ischemic heart and cerebral diseases. At present, following the further study on hemorheologic, which has become a method of diagnosis,treatment of ischemic heart and cerebral diseases.Terazosin mentioned in this paper, on one hand, it can decrease hemorheological characters by decreasing blood fat and blood glucose, and make whole blood viscosity degraded, on the other hand, it can improve the function of glandula thyreoidea, raise the content of thyrine T3,T4 obviously in whole blood of MS rats and provide an important index for MS.Objective:To probe the influence of terazosin on blood rheology, part of blood clotting index and red blood cell biomechanics of MS rats.Methods:Eighteen healthy female rats (weight 150±20g) were randomly divided into three groups of six rats each and body weight of each animal was recorded, named the control group (c group) , the high-fat group (h-group) and the drug-taking group(d-group), h-group and d-group received normal feed supplied with CCT(4% choledterol,0.5% bile salt and 1% 2-thiouracil) for inducing hyperlipemia and hypothyrea, while c-group receiving only the normal feed, after four weeks, all the rats were received vircle for another four weeks, however c-group and h-group were received distilled water(0.1ml/animal/d,p.o) while that of d-group were administred drugs of terazosin at a dose of 0.3mg/kg/d,p.o, all the action were performed by a garstric intubation, On the day of termination, the bodyweight of each animal were recorded , after four weeks, all the animals were killed, measured weight ,and all the results were measured.Results:Compared with c-group, blood triglyceride (TG), total cholesterol(TC), LDL-C and Glucose increase, while HDL-C, thyroid hormones(T3T4) decrease in h-group, the results above indicate that the model issuccess. Compared with h-group, TG, TC, LDL-C, Glu decreased, whileHDL-C and the content of T3 T4 increased. Compared with c-group, theweight of liver, the whole blood reduced viscosity, plasma viscosity, RBCosmotic fragility, Erythrocyte aggregation increase, while thebodyweight of rats, erythrocyte deformation index(DI) , orientationindex(DI)or , HCT, electrophoresis ration , microfludity of the membranelipid bilyers of RBC and FIB decrease significantly, PT and APTTshorten, Compared with h-group, Terazosin can decrease the wholeblood reduced viscosity, plasma viscosity, RBC osmotic fragility,Erythrocyte aggregation and content of FIB, increase erythrocytedeformation index(DI), orientation index(DI)or, HCT, electrophoresisration, microfludity of the membrane lipid bilyers of RBC and prolongAPTT. The pathology indicate that Terazosin can decrease the number ofliver and artery of MS rats.Conclusions:Terazosin can decrease plasma lipid and Glucose in whole blood, improve the function of thyroid and hemorheological parameter, defend liver and artery, relieve atherosclerosis. |
