Aim:To compare the degree of atherosclerosis in elderly patients with type H hypertension complicated with diabetes and patients with type H hypertension.Method:324 cases of elderly patients in First Geriatrics department to Lanzhou University from January 2014 to July 2016 were selected from,the324 patients were elderly patients with H type hypertension?According to whether diabetes mellitus, divided into 2 groups: elderly patients type H hypertension complicated with diabetes(combined group)158 cases,H type hypertension group(hypertension group)166 cases.(C-RPWV,C-FPWV,C-DPWV)were measured by noninvasive arteriosclerosis. The degree of arteriosclerosis in the two groups was compared and the influencing factors were compared and analyzed.Result:1.There is no gap between Hypertension group,Combined group in the age, triglyceride, total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, uric acid, body mass index.Among the groups of indicators of detection of plasma levels of homocysteine,atherosclerosis(C-RPWV C-FPWV)are to have a gap,and statistically significant(P<0.05).2.Homocysteine :The plasma homocysteine level(20.53 ± 7.54)in the combined group was higher than that the hypertensive group(15.91 ± 4.87)and P<0.05 Statistically significant.3.Arteriosclerosis:(1)C-RPWV: The leavel of C-RPWV in the combined group(11.13 ± 2.80)were significantly higher than the hypertensive group(10.06 ± 1.16)(P<0.05)has significant differences(2)C-FPWV: The leavel of C-FPWV in the combined group(13.68 ± 2.68)were higher than the hypertensive group(11.62 ± 2.52)(P<0.05)has significant differences.(3)C-DPWV: The levels of C-DPWV between combined group and the hypertensive group had no significant difference.4.The correlation between plasma homocysteine level and arteriosclerosis index was analyzed by Pearson linear correlation analysis. The results showed that the plasma homocysteine level was linearly correlated with the velocity of the brachial-femoral artery pulse wave, the correlation coefficient was 0.906,the plasma homocysteine level and the cervical-radial artery pulse wave velocity also had a positive correlation correlation coefficient was 0.441,plasma homocysteine levels, the higher C-RPWV,C-FPWV value, the higher the Arteriosclerosis is more serious.Suggesting that the higher plasma homocysteine level,cervical-radial artery pulse wave velocity,neck-femoral artery pulse wave velocity higher, the greater the degree of arteriosclerosis.5.Using regression analysis to analyze multiple factors age,fastingblood-glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol, low density lipoprotein cholesterol, body mass index, serum uric acid, plasma homocysteine on indicators of arterial atherosclerosis risk factors for C-FPWV,results showed that age, fasting blood-glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol, body mass index and plasma homocysteine level is the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis risk factors. Conclusion:In elderly patients who were hospitalized in January 2014 to July 2016,the degree of atherosclerosis in elderly patients with H-type hypertension and diabetes mellitus was significantly higher than elderly patients with H-type hypertension.Showed an elevated arterial sclerosis index, and plasma homocysteine levels and arteriosclerosis indicators were positively correlated,It is suggested that plasma homocysteine is positively correlated with the occurrence of arteriosclerosis.Age,fasting blood-glucose,triglyceride,total cholesterol, body mass index and plasma homocysteine are the risk factors of atherosclerosis. In the course of diagnosis and treatment of elderly hypertensive patients,in addition to monitoring the treatment of blood pressure, but also should pay attention to blood lipids, plasma homocysteine, body mass index monitoring,Elderly patients with diabetes mellitus with hypertension in patients with acute hypertension than the severity of arteriosclerosis, suggesting that elderly patients with hypertension and diabetes in the antihypertensive at the same time pay attention to the regulation of blood glucose, delay the complications of hypertension and target organ damage,For cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, renal impairment in patients should also pay attention to monitoring arteriosclerosis indicators, reduce the incidence of disease and mortality.
