Hypertension is an important risk factor leads to atherosclerosis, causing heart, brain, kidney and other target organs damages, diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance can also lead to this phenomenon, the two aspects have the mutual relation and difference?In addition, hypertension and diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance influence each other in the pathogenesis of the disease, so when both exist can cause the atherosclerosis more obvious, more serious complications?So we can use noninvasive24h ambulatory blood pressure monitoring calculation of ambulatory arterial stiffness index (AASI), which can reflect the extent of arteriosclerosis; According to AASI level early screening in hypertensive patients with glucose, preventing impaired glucose tolerance and diabetes produce?It is an early intervention for high risk cardiovascular disease population, improve the prognosis of patients with hypertension and the quality of their life. Have analysed the etiology and pathogenesis of atherosclerosis, hypertension, hypertension complicated with diabetes or IGT and the bad credit card from the view of Chinese medicine. The literature survey summarizes the pathogenesis of arteriosclerosis and hypertension, abnormal glucose metabolism, target organ damage, early prevention and the traditional Chinese medicine etiology and pathogenesis, syndrome differentiation and other factors.Second, clinical investigationPurpose:Through investigating clinically, analyse the Hypertension, diabetes or IGT arteriosclerosis evaluation and the Chinese medicine dividing type.Method:Select36cases of patients with hypertension,38cases of hypertension patients complicated with diabetes or impaired glucose tolerance and30cases of control group?Determination of age, heart rate,24h ambulatory blood pressure, AASI,fasting glucose or OGTT extraction experiments and typing of traditional Chinese medicine and other data, using Excel software and SPSS17. Ostatistical software for statistical analysis.Result:1. Compared with the normal group AASI differences were statistically significant (P<0.01) in the hypertension complicated with diabetes or IGT group and hypertension group.this two group also had statistical significance (P <0.05);2. AASI in cardiovascular disease and stroke compared with the normal group had statistically significance (P<0.01),scoops type blood pressure compared with non-scoops type was statistically significant (P<0.05);3. AASI and age, blood pressure, blood glucose, TC,24h average SBP, daytime average blood pressure are positively related (P<0.05), and24h average DBP are negatively related (P<0.05); AASI in normal blood glucose group and IGT group compare difference was statistically significant (P<0.05), and the differences between the diabetic group were significant (P<0.01);4. Hypertention patients of blood stasis type proportion was the highest; each type and the control group compared to the AASI than the other four, blood stasis syndrome has statistics difference (P<0.05).Conclusion:1. Arteriosclerosis in hypertension patients complicated with diabetes or IGT is more severe in hypertension group and control group;2. AASI can determine the degree of arteriosclerosis, is a good predictor for target organ damage in hypertensive patients, especially in cardiovascular and stroke complications;3.Hypertensive patients with AASI level and diabetes, impaired glucose tolerance are closely related, have certain prediction;4. AASI and age, blood pressure, blood glucose, TC,24h average SBP, daytime average blood pressure are positively related, and24h average DBP are negatively related;5.AASI in the traditional Chinese medicine dialectical typing is most closely related with blood stasis type.
