Research On The Cause And Countermeasures Of Doctor-patient Conflicts In Public Hospital Of Dongguan City

Doctor-patient relationship between doctors and patients is the most basic interpersonal relationship.The harmonious doctor-patient relationship is the foundation of all medical activities.With the improvement of people's material life,people's demand for medical services is growing,they put forward higher requirements for medical quality and service level.Under the influence of many factors such as strengthen of people's legal awareness and participation,as well as doctor's pursuit of interests and so on,makes the doctor-patient relationship increasingly tense and doctor-patient conflicts rise obviously.Increasingly tense doctor-patient relationship is a serious impact on hospital.This paper take public hospital of Dongguan city as the research object.Based on the systematic analysis of the current doctor-patient conflicts in Dongguan city,this paper clarify the concept of conflict,conflict of interest and doctor-patient conflicts.This paper discusses the basic theory of the doctor-patient conflicts.On the basis of consulting a large number of literature,through the questionnaire and in-depth interview and field survey,using case study method,literature research and interest analysis,found the causes of the doctor-patient conflicts in public hospital of Dongguan city.The causes include social factors,doctor reasons,patient reasons and other reasons.This paper put forward the specific management measures for the doctor-patient conflicts in Dongguan city.The measures include:We need to deepen the reform of medical health system,strengthening the government responsibility;To strengthen hospital management,improve the level of medical services;To strengthen the publicity and education of patients and change patients' unreasonable idea;To further improve doctor-patient conflicts mediation and processing mechanism,timely and effectively solve the doctor-patient conflicts.This paper provide decision-making reference to build a harmonious doctor-patient relationship in Dongguan city and even in the whole country.Through this research,this article mainly draw the following conclusions:firstly,in recent years,the number of doctor-patient conflicts in public hospital of Dongguan city is increased.Further more the doctor-patient conflict has a certain adverse influence for both of doctor and patient and society.The reasons leading to doctor-patient conflict are various.The social factors of doctor-patient conflicts include:The medical security system is not sound;The invest of government is not enough but the interference of government is too much;The direction of social opinion is biased.The doctors cause of doctor-patient conflicts include:the communication between doctors and patients between doctors and media is insufficient;The cause of the medical quality and medical services;The profit-seeking tendency of medical staff;Medical staff occupational stress;The self-protection consciousness of medical staff;The information between doctors and patients is asymmetry.The Patients cause of doctor-patient conflicts include:The economic conditions influence on patients;The lack of health knowledge;The expectations of patient are too high;The consciousness of Patient rights is improving.The other reasons of doctor-patient conflicts include:Hospital emergency response mechanism is not perfect;The doctor-patient conflict mediation and processing mechanism is not perfect.Finally,this paper put forward the specific treatment measures for doctor-patient conflicts in public hospital of Dongguan city.The measures include:Deepen the medical and health system reform,strengthen the government responsibility;To strengthen hospital management,improve the level of medical services;To strengthen the publicity and education of patients and change patients'unreasonable idea;To further improve doctor-patient conflict mediation and processing mechanism,timely and effectively solve the doctor-patient conflicts.I hope that through these measures to solve the doctor-patient conflicts,effectively relieve the strain on the doctor-patient relationship,really realize the harmonious doctor-patient in Dongguan city.
