Objective: To evaluate the self-management of modifiable risk(high blood pressure, diabetes, blood lipids, smoking)and the application status of secondary prevention drugs(antithrombotic and statins)in cerebral infarction patients.Enlighten general practitioners on the management of patients with cerebral infarction. Methods: 92 patients with recurrent cerebral infarction,in line with the inclusion criteria, were collected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University, from June 1,2016 to November 31,2016.The age, sex, body mass index, history of diabetes mellitus and hypertension, antithrombotic and lipid-lowering therapy, admission blood pressure,low-density lipoprotein and glycosylated hemoglobin were recorded with telephone follow-up,inpatient data and follow-up records of hospital system.Chi-square test was performed using SPSS19.0 software Statistical Analysis. The relationship between risk factors and recurrence of cerebral infarction was analyzed by univariate regression model.Result: The mean age of recurrent patients with cerebral infarction was67.2 ± 10.4 years old, including 67 males. The peak age of recurrence in male and female was 60~80 years,60~75 years respectively.BMI,regular and unregularly administration of aspirin and are associated with cerebral infarction recurrence time.Normal weight and overweight patients with recurrence had a significant(P <0.05)difference in recurrence time.Overweight patients in the second and third year and above, the recurrence rates are higher than normal weight patients, while overweight patients in the first year are lower than normal weight patients.Blood lipid control standards, regular administration of anti-platelet drugs can delay the recurrence of cerebral infarction. The self-management of modifiable risk(high blood pressure, diabetes, blood lipids, smoking)in cerebral infarction patients are still poor. Conclusion: In this study, the self-management ability of controllable risk factors in cerebral infarction patients is one of the main factors affecting the recurrence of cerebral infarction. In the controllable risk factors,BMI,blood lipid control and antiplatelet therapy can delay the recurrence of cerebral infarction.
