Objective:This study aims to investigate and analyze the clinical characteristics and risk factors in primary and relapsed cerebral infarction and to provide theoretical basis for early clinical intervention and recurrence prevention.Methods:Case-control study and retrospective analysis were used to identify clinical characteristics and risk factors for cerebral infarction which consists of 131 incipient and 123 recurrence patients.Results:(1) Compared to incipient patients, recurrence group showed a higher concurrent rate of hypertension and diabetes mellitus with significant statistical difference (P<0.05). (2) There was a significant difference between the two groups in plasma total cholesterol value (P<0.05). (3) The NIHSS score of recurrence patients was significant higher than incipient patients (P<0.01). (4) No significant difference was found in history of smoking, blood pressure, glycaemia, TG, LDL, HDL and coagulation function. (5) Ischemia event which occurred in different vascular blood flow areas cannot indicate a higher recurrence rate of cerebral ischemia. Conclusion:Early evaluation and control of the risk factors in patients with high risk of recurrence is important for preventing the recurrence of cerebral infarction.
